Today we went to church, for our friends daughter Jadyn's First Holy Communion. Jolie quite loved all the little princesses dressed up in white gowns. It was a beautiful day, and I just had to take a picture of one of the many beautiful stained glass windows. I love the way this picture turned out, as the church was filled with bright light, however my camera only reflected the light coming thru the window.

Oh, I wish you could be in NJ tomorrow... there are some pretty places here for photo shoots.
Sometimes the cameras need a little help metering the light correctly. You can push its interpretation by utilizing the 'AE-L/AF-L' button on the back of your camera while pointing it at a place of a darker exposure and holding it down while pointing it back at the lighter subject and taking the picture.
Ahh, such fun with the cameras...
I had a very hard time trying to take well exposed night shots last night, and finally gave up on metering all together and option for full-manual...
Cameras just don't see things the same way we do, but then again, that's part of the artfulness of the medium.
