Day 13

Went to the beach after dinner, as the sun was setting. A beautiful light leaving the sky, reflecting on the shimmery ocean surf. I quite liked the view of the twin lights in the far distance, and then at my feet lay a washed up twin branch of driftwood...

Day 12

My husband had band practice tonite in our garage. I still had not taken my photo today, and he suggested his Vintage '67 Gibson EB01 would look great against the newly stained subfloor. I quite agree...

I took quite a few different angles of this sleek fine instrument, and couldn't decide between the 2 of these images. Jim liked one better, and I liked the other... we couldn't decide on 1... so I am breaking the rules and posting 2 today.

Day 11

How much Spaghetti do you make for the High School Senior Lacrosse team?!

Well we made a huge, and I mean huge pot of sauce and meatballs, and then pounds and pounds of Ziti.

Day 9

Today we went to church, for our friends daughter Jadyn's First Holy Communion. Jolie quite loved all the little princesses dressed up in white gowns. It was a beautiful day, and I just had to take a picture of one of the many beautiful stained glass windows. I love the way this picture turned out, as the church was filled with bright light, however my camera only reflected the light coming thru the window.

Day 8

OIL CHANGE
I put it off long enough, time for an oil change. My Honda delearship offers a pretty good service, they do the oil change (of course), clean the inside and wash the outside, and give you a free drink too (well not free really, as their oil change service is a tad higher then your regular drive thru quick places). Anyway, I regress... it was a lovely day, I got my Mountain Dew, and spotted this site, behind the mess of "H" cars...

I actually cropped out the cars totally in a few of my pictures, but the little bit of car in the top right corner reminds me of where I was today. :) My happy place, when I need an oil change.

Day 7

You've got mail...

...along with a few rocks too!

Day 6

Look what the cat dragged in...

So I decided to be a little silly today. I was actually quite sad earlier, being stuck inside at work on the nicest summer day this spring so far. I had friends in town, and other friends joined them... all at the beach - fun for them, not for me. And to top it off I was stuck at work late tonight as well. So instead of focusing on the summer weather we had outdoors today, I looked around my lab for something creative to capture. I quite enjoyed positioning my cool cat with my mouse. Silly yes. Not so sad after smiling at the cute results! :)

Day 5

EARTH DAY

This is our earth, and look how we treat it? Change can happen. Make a difference, any little thing you can do... to make tomorrow a better place for us all.

Day 4

I spotted this old bench in a empty field. I stopped and wondered just how many people once sat on it, and then was sad to see it now forgotten.... rusting away as the sun set.

DAY 1

A totem pole in Rockport? Up close and personal:

LET MY YEAR START TODAY!

Yesterday I ventured off with Amy, a co-worker and fellow photo enthusiast on a photo shoot to 'Alaska' (filming of "The Proposal" in Rockport).

I have been wanting to pursue working on my photography, and have been amazed at Amy's progress in her photography since I first saw some of her work last year. She has inspired me to start my own Project 365. So thank you Amy... for being my inspiration. I hope I can follow in your happy footsteps in growing as you have just blossomed! CHEERS and Thank YOU again Amy!

This is Amy.
