Day 44

People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us.

Day 41

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by
the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.

Day 40

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!
Jim & I celebrated our 8th anniversary tonight. We dined at our favorite local restaurant, The Franklin Cafe (where we go every year for our anniversary's). Jolie was thrilled to join us again, and put on her favorite party dress. We were happy to find out the first round of drinks were compliments from our friend Tony (who called the restaurant asking to so kindly treat us). The rest of the night was perfect, we enjoyed the freshest and tastiest dishes, and ended the night with a melt in your mouth chocolate cake with melted center ... oh my - a sinful way to end a perfect night! Here is to many more wonderful years and anniversary meals at the Franklin!

Day 38

Nobody's Gnome...

I am not a fan of Gnome's, but was quite attracted to this little guy and his shabby digs.

Day 37

Each day I look for something different, something special, something... something...

Well today, it was a little something. Small and pink, and quite unusual looking. Amidst the sand, and the beach grass, little pink beach flowers smiled up at me, and smiled up to the sun.

Day 36

I drive past this house and garden on Route 62 every day when I go to work. Today I had to pull over to take this picture. I love the rustic mish mash of this garden, with old and new, fresh and wondrous... The colors and the sunlight hit it just right... mystical, magical, wonderful!

I love spring. I love gardens. I love the magic of it all!!!

Day 35

“May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day. May songbirds serenade you every step along the way. May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue. And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.” Irish Blessings quotes

Day 32

A buoy is a floating device that can have many different purposes, which determine whether the buoy is anchored (stationary) or allowed to drift...

Not your average Buoy...

Day 31

Make a wish...

...and make it happen.

Day 23

Today I joined two photographer friends at the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary. I could not believe we actually witnessed this hawk having frog legs for lunch...

Day 22

When I was younger, I dreamed of growing up and living a good life, a simple life, a happy life. I dreamed of having a family, my very own. I dreamed of meeting a man who would love me like no other, and then having my very own child, and being a mother. I dreamed of having a best friend and an amazing circle of friends, and all of our friends having children together, and then they will grow up, and continue on with this happy circle of life.....

Well my dream isn't a dream anymore...

Last night I had a wonderful girls night out with my friend Tina. Her son and my daughter stayed home with their dads, and we went to the movies, then out for some drinks and appetizers. We talked and talked and just enjoyed a much needed nite out.

In this buzy crazy world, us parents/adults/moms/whoever...
we sometimes forget about our own funtime. Life flies by, and before you know it you'll be wearing those polyester pants and hot rollers (okay tina so you won't need the rollers).

So get out and enjoy life. Live every day happily... smile and love life. This is our one and only grand appearance - here - right now.... So be the best YOU that you can be. Follow your heart, follow your dreams. Live. Love. Laugh..... and cherish every single day we are blessed to be here on this oh so wonderful world.

With love and smiles and hugs.....joanne.

note on my picture for day 22: I took this picture after midnite, but it still was technically day 22 (for me, as my nite didn't end until I lay my head on my pillow). Tina dropped me off, and realized I needed to take my day 22 picture. I looked around for something to capture, and saw this framed picture that I had taken a few years back of Tina's son and my daughter... I love this picture.
I love how Tina and I both have kids the same age, and now our kids are best buds too!

Day 21

"It was as though he had cut up the sky, melted down a flower garden, tossed in some jewels and made it into glass." ~Hugh McKean

Day 20

Long Busy Day yesterday - Day 20. After a long work day, I took Jolie with me to see my dentist, to check on a tooth I've been having issues with. No good photo ops there. Thankfully tooth is okay, and Jolie was wonderful, so I took her to this great park by the harbor, and almost cried when I saw this boat...

Not the best capture, as she kept on dragging me towards the park. It was the best I could get before she started getting mad, and told me to STOP taking pictures! SO I put my camera away, and we had a wonderful time at the park!

Day 19

Quite haunting this bench. I never did sit on it...

Day 17

Another rainy day...

Notice even the tulips drip tulips in their raindrops...

Day 16

Long Walk - Short Pier...

Day 15

Live Well ~ Laugh Often ~ Love Much

A long day, a long week. Got caught up in my day, and almost forgot to take my picture. While brushing my teeth in my bathroom, I spotted this vase... dusted it off, positioned it on my bathroom counter, and captured my picture minutes before bedtime.

Day 14

Yesterday was a full funtasic kinda day. Jolie & I ended up in Boston after work, so we visited a good friend while in their subarb. We spent a few hours in the late afternoon at a park, and then they invited us over for dinner in their tres cool loft. They live in a converted old schoolhouse, with fantastic windows and builtin chalkboards in the walls. The floors are beautiful hard wood, and you can see the spots where the old fashioned school chair were once bolted to the floor. LOVE their loft, love them, and love the lighting that comes into their space from these huge fantastic windows. Also love their funky retro decor...

Nanda, Marc & Jane... thanx again for a fun filled impromptu afternoon into night time!!! CHEERS! hope you like this capture of the natural light with some of your artsy decor! :)
